In 2006 I decided to build (have built) a Salt Kiln, and by the spring of 2007 my kiln builder, Bruce Dehnert, the director of ceramics at the Peters Valley Craft Center, in Layton, NJ, had begun building my 25 cu-ft (setting space) cross draft salt and soda kiln. Following are pictures and some details of its construction and subsequent firings.
I have worked in the computer services industry for 21 years in consulting and planning and I'm interested in music/audio, ceramics, skiing, and building computers. And I've made Fresh Hot Pepper Sauces for over 15 years.
